Stretch Marks

Stretch marks can result from an injury, medical, dental, or cosmetic surgical procedure, pregnancy, or severe weight gain or loss. When the body grows faster than the skin can adjust to the growth, lines appear in the skin where the skin has been stretched beyond its elasticity. These lines are known as stretch marks.

Here at Laser Touch Medical Clinic, we offer a wide variety of ways to treat stretch marks, including laser and light treatments. Laser and light procedures are the newest and most exciting forms of cosmetic treatments on the market. Without the need for injections or surgery, the natural energy from light can reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Stretch marks are most successfully treated with the following laser and light procedures: Intense Pulsed Light; Broadband Light; Blue Light Therapy, MicroLaserPeel™, ProFractional™, SkinTyte™, and Thermage®. These light and laser procedures can resurface the skin from the inside out, helping to promote healing and leaving the surface of your skin undamaged.

Other treatments that we offer for stretch marks here at Laser Touch Medical Clinic include chemical peels, a VI-Peel™ chemical peel, and microdermabrasion. Take-home treatments include the Obagi® Nu-Derm and Vi Derm® skin care lines, which can be applied daily by the patient in the privacy of his or her own home. Only Dr. Hakimian can help determine which type of treatment is best for you.

The staff at Laser Touch Medical Clinic will be happy to discuss stretch mark treatments and any of our other treated conditions with you. Please call for a private consultation at 1-888-LASER-15 (1-888-527-3715) or schedule an appointment online.
